Hezbollah Erects Sign Threatening Israel on Lebanese Border

Wednesday, 01 March 2017 | Hezbollah has placed, probably over the weekend, a defiant sign on Lebanese territory, about 800 meters [.5 miles] from Kibbutz Malkiya in which it claims Israel to be “weaker than a spider web” in an apparent swipe at the Jewish state, despite the incredible strength of spider silk.

Kibbutz farmers noticed the sign as they left for work on Sunday. “We are familiar with their threats to invade the Galilee,” said one of the Kibbutz residents. “We also know that the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] is training for it and will be able to respond appropriately.”

The sign also had the words “masters of triumph,” which was the slogan used on the occasion of the anniversary in memory of killed Hezbollah leaders—Abbas Moussawi, Ragheb Harb and Imad Mughniyeh.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah continues to monitor the IDF activities in Lebanon. On the terror organization’s military PR page, they uploaded photos documenting Israeli soldiers with a bulldozer yanking out concrete obstacles in the Mount Dov border area where the international border or the so-called Blue Line crosses.

It was also claimed that they erected some kind of electric gate in the area, leading to the arrival of UNIFIL inspectors stationed in southern Lebanon.

Later in the day, Hezbollah posted a collection of other pictures of Lebanese soldiers repositioning the concrete barriers in an act of defiance against the IDF soldiers’ “response to the provocations.”
