ZProject Scripture Memory

As a community we will work together to memorize 100 Israel-centric verses from the Bible.

This will be accomplished at an average of 2 verses each week.

 

 

Regarding the Covenant:

August 19th– 26th

 

  • Genesis 12:2  And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.
  • Genesis 12:3  I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

 

 

August 26th– September 2nd

 

  • Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.
  • Genesis 17:8  And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”

 

 

September 2nd– 9th

 

  • Genesis 26:2 And the Lord appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you.
  • Genesis 26:3  Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father.

 

 

September 9th-16th

 

  • Deuteronomy 7:6 “For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
  • Jeremiah 31:35 Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar – the Lord of hosts is his name:

 

 

September 16th– 23rd

 

 

  • Jeremiah 31:36  “If this fixed order departs from before me, declares the Lord, then shall the offspring of Israel cease from being a nation before me forever.”

 

 

 

  • Psalm 108:8 He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations,

 

 

September 23rd– 30th

 

 

  • Psalm 108:9  the covenant that he made with Abraham,his sworn promise to Isaac,

 

 

 

  • Psalm 108:10  which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,

 

 

September 30th– October 7th

 

  • Psalm 108:11  saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.”

October 7th-14th

 

  • Psalm 121:4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
  • Isaiah 30:19  For a people shall dwell in Zion, in Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. As soon as he hears it, he answers you.

 

 

October 14th– 21st

 

  • Zechariah 2:8 For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me[a] to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye:
  • Zechariah 8:2 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.

  • Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you!

November 4th– 11th

 

  • Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,
    who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
  • Isaiah 60:10 Foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you;
    for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.

 

 

November 11th-18th

 

  • Isaiah 62:1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.
  • Isaiah 62:6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance,  take no rest,
    Isaiah 62:7  and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.

 

 

November 18th-25th

 

  • Joel 3:1“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 
  • Joel 3:2 I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land,

 

 

November 25th– December 2nd

 

  • Isaiah 40:1 Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
  • Romans 15:27 For they were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings.

 

Regarding Replacement Theology:

December 2nd-9th

 

  • Romans 9:1 I am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit—
  • Romans 9:2  that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 

 

 

December 9th-16th

 

  • Romans 9:3  For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.
  • Romans 9:4  They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises,

 

 

December 16th– 23rd

 

  • Romans 9:5  To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.                     
  • Romans 11:11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. 

 

 

December 23rd– 30th

 

  • Romans 11:12  Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion[b] mean!
  • Romans 11:13  Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry 

 

 

December 30th 2015-  January 6th 2016

 

  • Romans 11:14  in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them.
  • Romans 11:15 For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

 

 

January 6th-13th

 

  • Romans 11:16  If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.
  • Romans 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root[c]of the olive tree, 

 

 

January 13th-20th

 

  • Romans 11:18  do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.
  • Romans 11:19  Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”

 

 

January 20th-27th

 

  • Romans 11:20  That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. 
  • Romans 11:21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 

 

 

January 27th– February 3rd

 

  • Romans 11:22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
  • Romans 11:23 And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.

 

 

 February 3rd– 10th  

 

  • Romans 11:24  For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.
  • Romans 11:25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

 

 

February 10th – 17th

 

  • Romans 11:26  And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,“The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
  • Romans 11:27 “and this will be my covenant with them
        when I take away their sins.”

 

 

February 17th– 24th

 

  • Romans 11:28 As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers.
  • Romans 11:29  For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 

 

 

Regarding Restoration of Israel:

February 24th– March 2nd

 

  • Ezekiel 36:24 I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries andbring you into your own land.
  • Ezekiel 36:25  I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.

 

 

March 2nd-9th

 

  • Ezekiel 36:26  And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
  • Ezekiel 36:30 I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations.

 

 

March 9th- 16th

 

  • Ezekiel 36:34 And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, instead of being the desolation that it was in the sight of all who passed by.
  • Ezekiel 36:35  And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’

 

 

March16th- 23rd

 

  • Ezekiel 36:36  Then the nations that are left all around you shall know that I am the Lord; I have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.
  • Amos 9:14 I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.

 

 

March 23rd– 30th

 

  • Amos 9:15  I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the Lord your God      
  • Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with singing;
    everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.  

 

       

March 30th– April 6th

 

  • Jeremiah 16:14  “Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when it shall no longer be said, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’
  • Jeremiah 16:15  but ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ ForI will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their fathers.

 

 

April 6th– 13th

 

  • Jeremiah 16:16 “Behold, I am sending for many fishers, declares the Lord, and they shall catch them. And afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.
  • Ezekiel 39:27 when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemies’ lands, and through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations.

 

April 13th– 20th

 

  • Ezekiel 39:28  Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore.

April 20th– 27th

 

  • Psalm 132:13 For the Lord has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place:
  • Psalm 132:14 “This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

 

 

April 27th– May 4th

 

  • Psalm 132:15 I will abundantly bless her provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
  • Isaiah 37:32 For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

 

 

May 4th– 11th

 

  • Zechariah 8:3 Thus says the Lord: I have returned to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, and Jerusalem shall be called the faithful city, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts, the holy mountain.
  • Zechariah 8:4  Thus says the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with staff in hand because of great age.

June 22nd– 29th

 

  • Joel 3:1 “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

July 6th– 13th

 

  • Zechariah 12:2  “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah.
  • Zechariah 12:3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.

 

 

July 13th– 20th

 

  • Zechariah 12:4  On that day, declares the Lord, I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
  • Zechariah 12:5  Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’

 

 

July 20th– 27th

 

  • Zechariah 12:6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.
  • Zechariah 12:7 “And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah.

 

 

July 27th– August 3rd

 

  • Zechariah 12:8 On that day the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the Lord, going before them.
